In the bid for hosting the FIFA World Cup in 2030 and 2034,
the deadline for submission was October 31. Australia withdrew
its bid for hosting the 2034 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday. Consequently,
Saudi Arabia remains the only remaining nation in the bidding process.
It is being speculated that Saudi Arabia might be awarded the hosting rights for the 2034 World Cup.
However, the final decision will be made after FIFA’s meeting scheduled for 2024.

Football Australia released a statement stating that they had given serious thought to
bidding for the FIFA World Cup hosting rights. However, considering all aspects,
they are unable to submit a bid for the 2034 World Cup. On the other hand, Yasser Al-Misehal,
President of the Saudi Arabian Football Association (SAFA),
has pledged to fulfill all of FIFA’s conditions for hosting the World Cup.

FIFA has also confirmed the names of the bidders for the 2030 World Cup. Morocco,
Portugal, and Spain have jointly submitted their bid. Additionally, Uruguay, Argentina,
and Paraguay have expressed their intention to bid collectively for hosting the 2030 World Cup.
